Stephanie Melia

Stephanie Melia was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelors of Science from Florida State University, majoring in Communications and Political Science. While attending Florida State University, she was the Chairperson for the Liberal Studies Honors Program and represented the student population on several faculty search committees. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University School of Law, and, as a law student, was a member of student government, The Environmental Lawyer and the Law Revue Troupe. Upon graduating, Stephanie practiced in Miami in civil matters before moving to Orlando to handle dependency and termination of parental rights cases for the Department of Children and Families.

Stephanie is actively involved in the Guardian Ad Litem program through the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar. While working at DSK Law, Stephanie has twice won LegalShield’s Members’ Choice award.
