Opinion

Perdomo v. Federal National Mortgage Association, 122 So. 3d 380 (Fla. 5d DCA 2013) (PCA Opinion)

Appellant homeowner sought appeal of appellee’s judgment of foreclosure and asserted a number of grounds for reversal, chief among them that standing was not established as the ownership of the note and mortgage were transferred during the course of the underlying foreclosure proceeding. Appellee responded, asserting that the ownership of the note and mortgage was properly established through both an executed assignment of mortgage and the chain of endorsement on the original note, making the summary judgment entered in favor of the Appellee proper. The 5th DCA affirmed the judgment in favor of the Appellee in a per curiam decision.
